Graford ISD Celebrates Red Ribbon Week w
Graford ISD is excited to participate in Red Ribbon Week from October 28th to October 31st, promoting a drug-free lifestyle through engaging and meaningful daily themes. This week-long celebration encourages students to make healthy choices and say "no" to drugs while having some fun with themed dress-up days.
Here's the schedule for this year's Red Ribbon Week:
-Monday – Pajama Day: Students are encouraged to wear their pajamas to school and remember, “Don’t let drugs destroy your dreams.”
Tuesday – Jersey Day: It’s time to “Team up against drugs” by wearing your favorite team’s jersey. Let's show our support for a drug-free life together.
Wednesday – Role Reversal Day: Students will dress like teachers, and teachers will dress like students. This theme, “Switch it up and say drug-free,” promotes the idea that we can all make a difference by changing perspectives.
Thursday – Anything BUT a Backpack Day: For the final day of Red Ribbon Week, students can bring their supplies in anything but a backpack! Let’s see the creativity flow as we reinforce that “No backpack? No problem! Show us your unique carrying style.
Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of drug use and the importance of living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Graford ISD is proud to be a part of this movement, educating our students and empowering them to make positive choices.
