Our District

About Us

Graford ISD is a proud 2A district located in Palo Pinto County, just west of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. We serve approximately 320 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

At GISD, we are committed to providing a well-rounded educational experience that prepares students for success in and out of the classroom. Our students have access to a wide range of academic and athletic extracurricular activities that foster growth, leadership, and teamwork. From service organizations and clubs to academic competitions and athletic programs, there’s something for every student to explore and excel in.

Students from elementary through high school actively participate in University Interscholastic League (UIL) events, competing with pride and determination across academics and athletics. At Graford ISD, we believe in building strong foundations, encouraging excellence, and cultivating a school culture where every student can thrive.

Mission

Our mission is to work collectively with our community to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that prepares our children to be productive, compassionate, and successful members of society.

Vision

 Building a tradition of excellence.
