About Us

 

Graford Independent School District is a small 1-A district located west of DFW in Palo Pinto County, Texas and services approximatley 320 students grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12. GISD offers numerous academic and athletic extra-curricular activities. Service organizations, clubs, and academic contests provide for a well-rounded school experience. Elementary through High School students participate in competitive academics and sports governed by the University of Intercholastic Leauge (UIL).

 Our mission is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where parents and educators work to make a positive difference in the hearts and minds of all students so that they may achieve their highest potential in becoming productive citzens. Our goal is to provide engaging, appropriate experiences for students so they can learn and are able to apply their knowledge in ways that will enrich their lives and ensure their well-being.

Campus School Times

 

  • Cafeteria/School Opens – 7:30AM
  • School begins – 7:45 AM M-Th
  • School ends – 4:00 PM M-Th
