Graford ISD 2024 Accountability Rating

Graford ISD Family,

It’s a great day to be a Jackrabbit! Over the past two years, we set focused goals to improve student performance and enhance College and Career Readiness, and today, I am excited to share that our hard work has paid off. Graford ISD has received an A rating from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the 2024 accountability year.

However, due to pending litigation, the TEA has been temporarily blocked from officially releasing A-F ratings this year. While the state can't release letter grades, districts have been given the option to do so independently. Out of a spirit of transparency, Graford ISD has decided to release our 2024 A-F rating. Our projected-calculated grade is based on the data received from TEA, and we are proud to share this success with our community.

This achievement shows the dedication of our students, the commitment of our staff, and the unwavering support of our parents and community. The successes we celebrate today didn’t happen by chance. They are the result of committed individuals who took action, who didn’t just talk about making a difference but worked tirelessly to make it happen. We’ve spoken often about being better students, parents, and educators—about putting others before ourselves, showing respect, and doing what’s right simply because it is right. It’s easy to say these things, but true greatness comes from turning words into action.

As the Superintendent of Graford ISD, I am both proud and inspired by what we have achieved together. But we’re not done yet. I challenge each of you to continue this momentum and MAKE IT HAPPEN again this year. Let’s ensure Graford ISD not only shines in our community but also stands out across the state of Texas.

To our dedicated staff, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zones and push harder than ever before. Embrace our shared mission to prepare every student for success, whether that path leads to college or the workforce. Let’s commit to doing whatever it takes to help our students achieve their fullest potential. Together, with determination and dedication, we will MAKE IT HAPPEN again in Graford ISD.

Ever proud to be a Jackrabbit,

Brandon Perry

Superintendent, Graford ISD
