Brandon Perry is blessed to serve as Superintendent of Graford Independent School District, where he is entering his fifth year of leading a district committed to excellence in academics, character, and service. With 28 years in public education, he considers education more than a profession—it is a calling. Every day, he is grateful for the opportunity to serve the students, staff, families, and community of Graford ISD.

Mr. Perry believes with all his heart that all students can learn at high levels when they are surrounded by caring adults, high expectations, and meaningful opportunities. He also believes that a student's zip code should never determine the quality of education they receive. These beliefs guide every decision he makes and continue to shape the vision for Graford ISD.

Since joining Graford ISD, Mr. Perry has been blessed to work alongside an outstanding team of teachers, staff, parents, the Board of Trustees, and community members to build a shared vision for the district's future. Together, they have established a district mission, collective commitments, the Profile of a Graford Graduate, and a district-wide instructional framework focused on ensuring every student reaches their fullest potential. He firmly believes that the greatest accomplishments are never achieved by one person but by people working together in service of a common purpose.

Under his leadership, Graford ISD continues to expand opportunities for students while maintaining a tradition of excellence. The district has earned consecutive accountability ratings, expanded Honors and Dual Credit opportunities, maintained outstanding graduation and College, Career, and Military Readiness outcomes, and invested in facilities that will serve students for generations to come. While he is proud of these accomplishments, he is quick to credit the dedicated teachers, staff, students, and families whose hard work and commitment make them possible.

Before becoming Superintendent of Graford ISD, Mr. Perry served as a secondary mathematics and science teacher, assistant principal, middle school principal, high school principal, Director of Secondary Schools, and Deputy Superintendent. Each role has strengthened his belief that relationships matter, leadership is about serving others, and every decision should be made with students at the center.

Brandon and his wife, an Educational Diagnostician, have been married for 21 years and are blessed with three wonderful children. As parents, they understand the trust families place in schools each day and the importance of creating a safe, engaging environment where every child is known, loved, challenged, and supported.

Mr. Perry believes education is about far more than preparing students for college or careers. It is about developing character, inspiring servant leaders, and helping young people discover the gifts and talents they have been given. It is an honor and a blessing to serve the Graford community, and he remains committed to ensuring that every student who walks through the doors of Graford ISD graduates prepared to succeed in life and make a positive difference in the world.
